                                                The Daily Influence Of The Holy Spirit

    Introduction
           A.  This is the final lesson in the series dealing with the Holy Spirit.
           B.  Comments
           C.  Let’s give attention to the influence of the Spirit in our everyday living.
                 1.  Everyday isn’t the same.
           D.  Our Heavenly Father knows that we can’t live a righteous life
                 without Divine help.
           E.  Let’s focus on the Spirit’s daily influence on a Christian in these experiences:
                spiritual, relationship, physical and mental. A word of caution:

      I.  The spiritual experiences in the day of a Christian.
           A.  When you awaken tomorrow, will you belong to God?  Romans 8:9,16(834)
                 1.  We can know without a doubt.

           B.  The Holy Spirit will be involved tomorrow as we pray.  Romans 8:26-27;
                 Jude 20 (904)
           C.  Of Course we will worship on Sunday and the Spirit will influence us.

           D.  Tomorrow we will be confronted with temptations from satan.  Ro. 8:13,1-2;
                 1. If we live by our faith and listen to our conscience that has been trained in God’s
                     Word, the Spirit will influence us. Romans 9:1-2 (835)

           E.  When we study God’s word the Spirit is involved.  Ephesians 6:17

           F.  As we live righteously, the Spirit and God’s word enable us to grow spiritually.

     II.  Relationship experiences.
           A.  During the day we have experiences with people:

           B.  The Holy Spirit influences us in these relationships with the word (Eph. 6:17) and the
                 conscience (Romans 9:1-2).
                 1.  We need to grow in the fruit of the Spirit and not allow satan to control us.  Gal.
                      5:17,17,19-26;  Galatians 5:13-15

    III.  Physical experiences.
           A.  We develop habits, behavior and patterns by which to live, so let’s be conscious of
                 the principle taught in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (844)

   IV.  Mental experiences.
          A.  There are habits that can lead to mental disorders, such as:
                1.  Report by CDC. We need to keep ourselves under the control of the Spirit.
Closing: 1) The Spirit enables us to identify who we are. 2) WHO will controls us TODAY?
