PARTNERSHIP WITH GOD
Philippians 2:12-13 (868)
INTRODUCTION
A. As we think about our relationship with God, do we view it as a
partnership?
B. Webster’s New World Dictionary defines partnership as, “The relation
ship of partners; joint interest. An association of two or more people
who carry on a joint business who share profits and losses.”
C. Partnership with someone might bring experiences that we didn’t
realize such as the person is incompetent, lazy and greedy.
D. Our relationship with God is much different. Philippians 2:12-13.

I. God’s contribution to the partnership
A. God gives us abundant mercy. Roman’s 6:23 (833); Galatians
5:19-21 (862); Ephesians 2:1-6 (863)
B. God gives us His amazing grace. Romans 6:23; Eph. 2:8-10
C. God gives us His continual forgiveness of sins. Romans 6:3-7
(833); 1 John 1:9,7 (899)
D. God can provide Christians with these blessings Because He has given

II. Our contribution to the partnership
A. We give God our sins. Isaiah 59:2 (551); Romans 3:23
B. We give God our trust. Acts 2:38-39
C. We give God our love. Luke 10:27
III. Attitudes some people have: Salvation, the church and worship is about
them. Noah, Moses, Daniel and Paul realized that God was in control.
Closing: We must understand that God is in control of our partnership with HIM
