WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE?

Introduction
A. Jesus had been invited to a banquet by one of the rulers of the Pharisees (14:1).
1. One of the guests commented on the blessing of eating bread in the kingdom
of God and Jesus responded with a parable.
B. In the parable, the banquet sumbolizes God’s invitation to His kingdom and the
excuses reflect on people choosing worldly concerns over a relationship with
God.
C. Let’s focus on the three excuses given.
I. The first excuse is in v18_______________________________________________
