D. Let us focus on three ways a local church can lose her distinction.
I. By compromising.
A. Let’s not compromise with the religious world.
- Distinction can actually be good. Example:
- The church is distinct. A few examples:
a. We teach and practice the essentiality of baptism. Acts 2:38

C. We observe the Lord’s Supper every Sunday. Acts 20:7
D. Why would we compromise these beliefs and practices?

A. Indifference toward studying God’s word and worshipping God. Hebs.
