OFF WITH THE OLD; ON WITH THE NEW (Lesson Two)

B. Once we have put on the new person, God expects us to live a new

C. As a new person (a newborn babe) we begin our new journey as a
Christian. 1 Peter 2:2 (895)
I. We are to be living sacrifices to God. Romans 12:1-2 (837)
A. Our lives are to be holy and acceptable to God. V1
1. We should no longer conform to the ‘sinful elements of the world.’
1 John 2:15-17 (900); Romans 12:2
2. This means that we must deal with our sinful nature. Example:
B. We must be transformed by the renewing of our minds. V2
1. This takes time, INTENTIONAL living and dedication to the truths.
2. When we change our mind, we will change and our lives will
