Introduction
A. The apostle Peter communicated to his readers that the day of the Lord (His
return) will come. V10
B. During our lesson we will note that there will be scoffers (mockers) regarding
the return of Christ in the last days. Their reasoning will be based on false-
hood. We will consider some of the changes in our present heavens and
earth (universe) and We will be reminded of how we should live as we antic-
apate the day of the Lord.
I. There will be scoffers (mockers) in the last days. Vv3-9
