C. If our names are written in heaven, they must be recorded in the Lamb’s

D. Let’s consider three features of the Book of Life.
I. Background:
A. There are those who believe that the concepts of the Jews’ citizens
registration record was used by Jesus to present His Book of Life.
1. Nehemiah registered all those in Jerusalem when he
returned. Nehemiah 7:4-5,64 (396)
2. Zerubbabel had a public record of those who returned with him.
3. The authorites removed a name at death.
4. It’s possible that Jesus used the concepts of the Jewish registers to
present His book of Life.
II. Understanding
A. The Book of life has existed from the foundation of the world.

B. It contains the names of those who will be in eternity with God.

C. It will be used by Jesus at The Great White Judgment. Rev. 20:11,15
III. Names
A. Christ determines whose names are in the Book of Life.
